Student of MEDance
MEDance first intrigued me in the early 70s watching
John Compton perform at the Renaissance Faire with Troupe Bal Anat,
Jamilla Salimpour's troupe. I signed up for class in 1973 with Natica
Angilly. I fell in love with the music and hypnotic movements at that
very first class and have never looked back. I have
studied with Najia El Mouzayen and my style is mostly fusion these days, although I enjoy all styles of Belly Dance
from classical to fusion, gypsy, to deviant
gothic, and I enjoy dancing different styles at events around
the Bay Area.
In order to broaden
my dance horizons I have studied jazz, ballet, folk dance, and yoga. I
participate in workshops by other notable artists whenever possible,
MEDance artists such as: former Bert Balladine, Najia, Natica, Rhea, Fatima
& Jamilla, Delilah, and newer teachers like Zoe, Amy Sigil, Cera, and many more. Additionally, I have
danced and taught private workshops in Egypt, Greece, Europe, and some
of the Orient.
Teacher of MEDance

holistic health center in Calaveras County, CA and continues now that I
have relocated to the SF Bay Area with classes in San Leandro, San Ramon,
